The first track from Dave's forthcoming solo album, When the Morning Comes combines heartfelt lyrics with gorgeous harmonies produced by Matt Retz and Eric Rosander of the Ain't Got No Time (Rock and Blues) Band.  Evoking at times the Black Crowes, the Allman Brothers and The Eagles the song began with the idea of losing the woman he loved and moves to the realization that loss is part of life.  Rather than waiting for the one who won't come back comes the realization there's someone who will be there when the morning comes!

Lyrics

When the Morning ComesWords and music by Dave ManoucheriCopyright 2016
I'm broken and bent,Beat down 'cause I spentMy time fighting my battles of the heart.Never thought she would goBut my pillow's so cold. What she took from me she'll never know.
Oh, what she took from me, she'll never know.
The years passed awayThinking you might come my waySome days I just fell apartThen she came in todaySaid take it day-by-dayThat woman took my breath away.
And I see the moonRising in the midnight skyI see your headlights as they pass me by.Though I wait here for you you've left me behind. And she'll be here when the morning comesYeah, she'll be here when the morning comes.
She spotted my eyeAnd then took the timeSaid I had to do so much more than talkFelt the earth begin to shakeAnd my fever start to breakFeeling the rush of my heart.
And I see the moonRising in the midnight skyI see your headlights as they pass me by.Though I wait here for you you've left me behind. And she'll be here when the morning comesYeah, she'll be here when the morning...
Comes . . . 'cause I will.She will be here, 'cause I willNo more waiting, waiting on you still . . .
And I see the moonRising in the midnight skyI see your headlights as they pass me by.Though I wait here for you you've left me behind. And she'll be here when the morning comesYeah, she'll be here when the morning comes.
